Why I’m Running: For RSM, For You
I’m running for City Council because I believe leadership starts with listening — and ends with action that truly reflects the people. Rancho Santa Margarita deserves representation that’s transparent, approachable, and focused on long-term community wellbeing, not short-term politics.
As a Rancho Santa Margarita resident, mother, and successful entrepreneur, I understand how city decisions affect everyday life — from public safety and parks to schools, housing, and business opportunities. With over 20 years of experience as a business and marketing strategist and a background that includes a Doctorate in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and a Bachelor’s in Media Economics, I bring both real-world and academic experience in economics, leadership, and smart fiscal management.
My motivation is simple: to keep RSM strong, connected, and prepared for the future. That means ensuring that every dollar, every decision, and every initiative reflects what matters most — our residents, families, and neighborhoods.
My Priorities for Rancho Santa Margarita
💰 Fiscal and Social Responsibility:
I believe in investing in programs that deliver measurable results — initiatives that strengthen our community while maintaining financial accountability.
🗣️ Leadership Through Listening:
True leadership starts with listening. I’m committed to fostering open dialogue, encouraging feedback, and ensuring every resident’s voice helps guide City Hall’s decisions.
🏞️ A Safe and Beautiful RSM:
We must preserve what makes our city special — safe neighborhoods, beautiful parks, and clean public spaces that protect our property values and enhance our quality of life.
👧 Bringing Back Affordable After-School Care
Our youth deserve safe, enriching environments. I’ll work to restore partnerships that provide families with reliable, community-based after-school programs.
🌿 Affordability and Opportunity:
By exploring creative ways to maintain affordability — from business partnerships to family-friendly initiatives — we can ensure RSM remains a thriving place to live, work, and retire.
🔍 Transparency and Accountability:
Residents should always know how funds are spent and why decisions are made. I’ll champion open communication, public access, and clear fiscal reporting at every level.
My vision is a Rancho Santa Margarita built on shared values — integrity, kindness, and connection. I’m running to strengthen those values, to create opportunities that bring people together, and to ensure that every voice matters in shaping our future.
Together, let’s build on what works, fix what doesn’t, and lead RSM into a future defined by collaboration, compassion, and accountability.
